I thought I needed to get married and have a baby the way everyone else did, turns out I did not! It brought me my sweet baby girl and fulfilled my dream of becoming a mother. It also showed me the importance of community rather than just existing in nuclear families. It’s okay to take the road less traveled. It can be very fulfilling and rich.
